Etymology: Bainguis is superfically anguid-like lizard from the Bain Dzak. The particle An is replaced by Bain.

Etymology: Latin, parvus, "small."

Holotype: ZPAL MgR-II/46

Locality: Bayan Zag (= Bayn Dzak, Shabarakh Usu GILMORE, 1943), Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia.

Horizon: Djadochta Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Skull missing the anterior tip.
