Age: Upper Cenomanian Stage, Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Number: Not given: Portions of the frontal, parietal, right quadrate, maxilla, denary, postrior mandielb,e 3 cervical, 36 dorsal, and 28 caudal vertebrae, isoalted ribs, humerus, femur, tibia, fibula? and phalanges, incluiding oen ungual of an adult female.

Numbers: Not given: Partial frontals, premaxilla, and tooth bearing elements, cervical, dorsal and caudal vertebrae, and a few indeterminate limb remains of an embryo.

BELL & POLCYN, 1996

Localities and Horizons: A maxilla and vertebrae of this taxon have been located at 3 sites in South Dakota in basal calcarenites of the Greenhorn Formation, (Late middle Cenomanian Plesiacanthoceras wyomingense and early late Cenomanian Dunveganoceras pondi Zone). It is also found in the Greenhorn of Kansas, and in west Texas in the Ernst Member of the Boquillas Formation at a level correlative with the early Turonian part of the Greenhorn in South Dakota. Shed teeth have also been found in the early late Turonian, Lower Turner Sandy Member of the Carlile Shale in southwestern South Dakota. The latest record in the Seaway is from Western Kansas in the middle Santonian, Smoky Hill Member, Niobrara Chalk.
