Etymology: In reference to the Puntledge River, British Columbia, Canada, where the
specimen was found.
Holotype: CDM 022
Locality: South bank of Puntledge River, 910 m down stream from confluence with Browns river, 740 m upstream from power house, 49°41’22”N, 125°02’17’W, Vancouver Island, British Columbia Province, Canada.
Horizon: Pender Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Upper Santonian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: Incomplete skull and mandible, vertebral column and ribs, right
humerus, left pectoral girdle, and from limb.
