Etymology:

Locality: UCMP V 3718, SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of sec 20, T8S R8E, Mount Diablo Base Lind and Meridian, U. S. Geol. Survey, Pacheco Pass Quadrangle, in the hills about 7 miles S. 66'W. of Gustine, Merced County, California.
Horizon: Moreno Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Maastrichtian Stage, uppermost Senonian subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: Skull, 18 anterior caudal vertebrae, 4 ribs and some rib fragments.

Etymology:
= Kolposaurus tuckeri CAMP, 1942
Holotype:
Locality: UCMP V 3736, 900 feet E. and 1050 feet S. of the NW corner of Sec. 13, T14S, R11E, Mount Diablo Base Line and Meridian, U. S. Geol. Survey, Panoche quadrangle, about 22 miles due west of Mendota, Fresno County, California.
Horizon: Moreno Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Maastrichtian Stage, uppermost Senonian subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: 54 dorsal and caudal vertebrae, including 8 posterior dorsals, 1 sacral, 29 pygals, and 16 caudals with parts of fused chevrons, a few fragments of small posterior lumbar ribs are also present.
Referred material:
Locality: North of Coalinga, Fresno County, California.
Horizon: Moreno Formation.
