Locality: V 3622 lies about 700 feet above the Panoche beds, the locality is in a large talus slope weathering from dull-colored organic clay shales on the north side of Puerto Creek, 5 1/2 miles WNW of Paterson, in SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Sec. 20, T5S, R7E on about 300 foot contour line, Stanislaus County, California.

Horizon: Moreno Formation.
