Etymology:
= Hydrosaurus lesinensis KORNHUBER

Holotype: GBA 1873/4/2 (Slab B according to PIERCE, 2002)

Locality: Hvar Island (= Isola di Lesina), 43 degrees 10'N, 16 degrees 30' E, of the coast of Croatia.

Horizon: Local Plattenkalken or platy limestones.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Cenomanian Stage, upper Gallic subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Middle Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton.

Etymology: In honor of Kornhuber.
= cf. Pontosaurus sp CALDWELL & DAL SASSO, 2004
= Genus: Nova DAL SASSO & RENESTO, 1999

Locality: Left flank of the Ouadi al Gabour near the village of Nammoura, Kesrouaune Caza, Mohafazat, 10 km southeast of Hadjula 23 km northeast of Beirut, Hakel, Kesrouane Province, Lebanon.
