Etymology: In honor of Dr. Robert Schiller, Chief Scientist for Grand Teton National park and active supporter of research on the Morison Formation and Greek, sauros, "lizard."
= Schilleria EVANS & CHURE,1999 non DAHL, 1907 (Schilleria laticeps, Araneae [Spider], subgenus), non GIRAULT, 1932 (Schilleria pulchra a genus of Australian chalcidoidean hymentopteran [Wasp]).

Locality: DNM locality 375, Dinosaur National Monument, Uintah County, Utah.

Horizon: Brushy Basin Member, Morrison Formation.

Biostratigraphy: Zone ?

Age: Comobluffian age, Kimmeridgian Stage, uppermost Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: Part and counterpart of a dissociated skull and skeleton.
