Etymology: In honor of Dr. Robert Schiller, Chief Scientist for Grand Teton
National park and active supporter of research on the Morison Formation and Greek, sauros, "lizard."

Age: Comobluffian age, Kimmeridgian Stage, uppermost Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.
Material: Part and counterpart of a dissociated skull and skeleton.
