Species: sceliphros GAO & NORELL, 2000
Etymology: Greek, skeliphros, "thin or slender," in reference to the
lightly built skull of this new species.
Holotype: IGM 3/71 (MAE 255/92-10)
Locality: Tögrögiin Shiree (= Tugrugeen Shireh, Tugrikin-Shireh locality), Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia.
Horizon: Djadochta Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: Incomplete skull articulated with mandibles.
