Etymology: In reference to the country of Bolivia, where the specimen was discovered.

Holotype: YPFB PAL 6120

Locality: Vila Vila, Department of Cochabamba, Tiupampa, Bolivia.

Horizon: Mammal-bearing level of the El Molino Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Fragment of mandible with m2.
