Etymology: Greek, (Char) and (Rober); a coal rober; allusion to the Berezovsk coal mine and black color of hte mammal teeth from this locality.

Etymology: In honor of Sergei Krasnolutskii who discovered the holotype specimen.

Locality: Berezovsk Quarry, near the Nikol'skoe settlement, N55°39', E89°11', south Krasnoyarsk Territory, west Siberia, Russia.

Horizon: Itat Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian Stage, Middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: Left lower molar.
