Etymology: In honor of the major participation of Dr. Frances Mussett in the accumulation of the Kirtlington fauna.

Horizon: Kirtlington Mammal bed, near base of the Forest Marble.

Biostratigraphy: Forest Marble Formation, Oppelia aspidioides Zone.

Age: Upper Bathonian Stage, upper middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: Right lower molar.
