Etymology: Litovoi, a voivode (local ruler) in the thrteenth-centrury southwestern Romania.

Species: tholocephalos DSIKI-SAVA, VREMIR, MENG, BRUSATTE & NORELL, 2018
Etymology: Greek, tholos, "dome" and Greek, kephale, "head"; referes to the domed skull.

Holotype: LPB FGGUB M.1700

Locality: Pui, Hateg Basin, Hunedoara County, Romania.

Horizon: "Multi-bed" level, Barbat River Succission, Pui beds.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Much of the skull (partial skull roof, complete braincase andear region, right premaxilla with incisors, left maxilla with complete cheek tooth row adn i1) and postcralial elements (vertebrae, ribs, pelvic and limb bones).
