Etymology: In honor of the late Professor J. R. E. Mills, whose orthoodontic expertise has much aided the functional interpretation of Mesozoic mammalian teeth, and Greek, odon, "tooth."

Horizon: Forest Marble.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Bathonian Stage, Middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Material: First right lower molariform (m1).
