Etymology: In honor of Dr. P. Yadagiri, Senior Geologist of the Geological
Survey of India, who has contributed immensely to our knowledge of the Kota
vertebrate fauna.

Holotype: VPL/JU/KM/10
Locality: West of Paikasigudem village and about 9.5 km east of Asifabad railway station, Adilabad District, Andhra Pradesh State, India.
Horizon: Clay units of the Kota Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Pliensbachian-Toarcian Stage, Upper Lias Epoch, Early Jurassic.
Material: A right upper molar.
