Holotype:

Locality: Cerrejon fossil site, near Cerrejon, Northeastern Colombia.

Horizon: Cerrejon Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Paleocene Epoch, Lower Paleogene Period, Lower Tertiary Subera, Cenozoic Era.

Material: Fragmentary skull and mandible, and 2 other mandibles.
