'crocodile'.

Etymology: In honor of Geraldo da Costa Barros Muniz owing to his pioneer
paleontological studies in the Paraiba Basin.
Holotype: DG-CTG-UFPE 5723
Locality: Poty Quarry, in the region of Paulista, 7°54'47"S, 34°51'00"W, north of Recife, Municipality of Recife, Pernambuco State, Brazil.
Horizon: Maria Farinha Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Late Danian, Paleocene Epoch, Lower Paleogene Period, Lower Tertiary Subera, Cenozoic Era.
Material: Skull, mandible, ulna, cervical and caudal vertebrae, ribs, dermal scutes and isolated teeth.
