Etymology: In honor of Vladimir Ivanovich Sayev -Associate Professor of Faculity of Paleontology and Historical Geology of Tomsk State Univeristy, discoverer of locality Shestakovo-3.

Holotype: PM TGU 16/I-184

Locality: Sh-3 (Shestakovo 3), approximately 40 km south of Mariinsk City, 55°54’12”N latitude and 87°57’28”E longitude, Chebula District, Kemerovo Province (Kemerovsky Region), Western Siberia, Asian Russia.

Horizon: Ilek Formation (Ilekskaya Svita).

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Khukhtekian age, Aptian-Albian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Incomplete skull and lower jaw.
