Etymology: Greek, leioka/rinos or leioka/rhinos, "smooth-headed/bald-headed" and
Greek, souchus, "crocodile." in reference to the smooth cranial table of the
holotype.

Etymology: Old English, broc, "small stream"
and Latin -ensis, "from"; in
reference to Brook Bay on the Isle of Wight, where the holotype was discovered.

Horizon: Presumbably from the Wessex Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Early Cretaceous.
Material: A partial skull (basicranium and posterior part of the palate), the posterior part of the left and right mandibular rami, 4 cervical vertebrae adn associated ribs, and 5 paravertebral osteoderms.
