Holotype:

Locality: Dadi (Ta Ti), Lufeng, Yunnan Province, China.

Horizon: Lower part of Dark Red Beds, Lower Lufeng Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Sinemurian Stage, Middle Lias Epoch, Middle Early Jurassic.

Material:

CUP 2083: Skull and lower jaw missing the posterior end, all but the sacrum of the vertebral column is represented in part and the pectoral girdle is complete on both sides and dorsal scutes.
