Etymology: Zos, Ukhaa Tolgod, Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia, from the type locality, and Greek, suchos, "crocodile."

Etymology: In honor of Amy Davidson, who prepared several of these specimens and has been so instrumental in the exquisite preparation of Mongolian specimens allowing the success of our (the authors) work.

Holotype: IGM 100/1305

Locality: Zos Canyon, southern flank of the Gilvent Ul, about 6 km northwest of the main locality at Ukhaa Tolgod, Ömnögov (South Gobi), Mongolia.

Horizon: Red Beds, Djadokhta Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Isolated skull and lower jaws.
