Etymology: Named in honor of St. Roy Querejazu of Cochabamba, Bolivia, who
obtained the type specimen and kindly provided it to the authors for study
and descriptions.
Holotype: MHNC P3701
Locality: Vila Vila, about 90 km southeast of Cochabamba, Mizque Province, Cochabamba Department, Southcentral Bolivia.
Horizon: Santa Lucia Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Early Paleocene Epoch, Lower Paleogene Period, Lower Tertiary Subera, Cenozoic Era.
Material: Nearly complete skull.
