Locality: R4701, on the right side of the main stream of the River Obirashibetsu near Kawakami, Obira Area, Hokkaido, Honshu Island, Japan.

Note: Found with cephalopod jaws and 23 chert, sandstone, siltstone and andesite gastroliths.

Locality: Kansas.

Horizon: Smoky Hill Member, Niobrara Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Santonian or Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material:

KUVP 68979: 41 very large vertebrae (100mm in diameter), partial radial cartliages of pectoral fin that my be plesoide, and scatterd placoid scales with servral grooves on the corns surface.
Note: Possible plesiosaur gastroliths found near the stomach region. The shark may have feed on the plesiosaur.
