Etymology: In honor of Zhao Zijin, a distinguished dinosaurologist who introduced the first author to the field of vertebrate paleontology.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Skull missing snout, fragmentary skeleton with feather impressions on wings, legs, tail and body.
Note: 4-winged dromaeosaur.
