Etymology: In honor of Mr. Li Yutong (IVPP), who prepared this delicte specimen and many other birds and feathred dinosaurs.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete skull and skeleton.

Note: With feather impressions around the wings, legs, and tail.
