Genus: Agustinia BONAPARTE, 1999
Etymology: In honor of the young student Agustin Martinelli, a member of the Paleontological team and discoverer of the specimen.

Species: ligabuei (BONAPARTE, 1998) BONAPARTE, 1999
Etymology: In honor of Dr. Ginacarlo Ligabue, from Venezia, an active philanthropist, who supported the 1997 expedition to Patagonia.

Holotype: “Carmen Funes” Museum of the Plaza Huincul, Neuquen Province, MCF-PVPH-110

Locality: North side of Cerro el Leon, 8 km west of Picun Leufun, Southern Neuquen Province, Northern Patagonia, Argentina.

Horizon: Lohan Cura Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Aptian Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: 19 incomplete neural arches, 9 dermal ossifications located on the neural spines, a right tibia, right fibula with an incomplete astragalus and 5 left metatarsals.
