Locality: Blinkwater river, south of the Winterberg peak, north of Fort Beaufort, Fort Beaufort, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa.

Biostratigraphy: Cistecephalus zone.

Age: Tatarian Stage, Lopingian Subepoch, Zechstein Epoch, Late Permian.

Material: Skull (lost, LEE, 1997) cast, fragments of lower jaw (old number R1710), pelvis (old number 36251), and unprepared blocks including vertebrae, scapula, osteoderms.

Material: Hundreds of fragments containing portions of skull, lower jaw, shoulder and pelvic girdls, both forelimbs and both hindlimbs, a cervical, 12 dorsal and 10 caudal vertebrae, ribs and osteoderms.
