Genus: Amanzia SCHWARZ, MANNION, WING & MEYER, 2020
Etymology: In honor of the well-known Swiss geologist Amanz Gressly (1814-1865) who interoduced the term "facies" into geology and discovered teh first dinoaur fossil from Switzerland in 1856.

Age: Lower Kimmeridgian Stage, Middle Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.
