Etymology:

Locality: Endenna quarry, near Zogno, Bergamo, Lombardia Province, North Italy.

Horizon: Upper part of the Zorzino Limestone Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Norian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Paratype:

MSBN 27: A few dorsal vertebrae and ribs, part of the pelvic girdle, the right femur and a compelete tail.
Note: Mid way down the tail is a bony outgrowth that may be due to a bite (MULLER, RENESTO & EVANS, 2005).
