Species: bucklandii RITGEN, 1826
Etymology: In honor of W. Buckland.

Locality: Stonesfield near Woodstock, about 12 miles to the north west of Oxford, (SP 387171), Oxfordshire County, England, Southern United Kingdom.

Horizon: Stonesfield Member, Sharps Hill Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Bathonian Stage, Middle Dogger Epoch, Middle Jurassic.

Referred material:

OUM J. 13579: Caudal vertebra.
Note: Paleopathology, cervical rib shows an unusual swelling at the base of the capitular process that appears to be a healed fracture (TANKE & ROTHSCHILD, 1999).
