Etymology:

Locality: North side of the Smoky (Hill) River, 18 miles (=30.0) km) east of Fort Wallace, 5 miles west of Russell Springs, Sec. 13 and 24, T12S, R36W, Logan County, Kansas.

Horizon: Smoky Hill Member, Niobrara Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Santonian or Campanian Stage, Senonian Subepoch, Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

YPM 1175: Mandublar ramus, scapula, coracoid, humerus, ulna, several wing bones, including an ulna, a radius, a humerus, a 4th metacarpal, 4d, 4v, femur, a metatarsal and a tooth?
Note: The specimens were found at 4 different locations and were very probably the remains of 4
Note: Mandublar ramus has associated hyperplasia on the external surface of the left side due to necroses, right mandibular ramus has bony overgrowth (BENNETT, 2003).

LACM 50926: Fragmentary skull, ight radius, ulna, left scapula, coracoid humerus, radius, metacarpal 4, both metacarpal 4d, both wing phalange 1-2, wing phalange 3, femora and right tibia.
Note: Mandibular ramus is badly deformed due to necroses.

Material: Skull, distal end of the quadrate bone of a male.
Note: Right marginal ridge of mandible shows extensive necrosis.
