Numbr: Not given: Fragmentary remains of two size classes.

Note: Found in the stomach region of Tylosaurus nepaeolicus (MRM KB-M-3) along with teeth of the shark Ptychodus mortoni.

Species: stadtmani KASS, 1999
Etymology: In honor of Kenneth Stadtman, curator of the BYU Earth Science Museum, for his extensive work in paleontology.

Holotype: BYU 13802

Locality: In a roadcut on Cedar Mesa about 0.3 kilometers east of Main Street in the town of Cedaridge, NW ¼, NW ¼, Section 28, T13S, R94W, Delta County, Colorado.

Horizon: Upper part of the Mancos Shale, Upper Blue Gate Member.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Lower Campanian Stage, Senonian subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Incomplete skull including both premaxillae and maxillae, nearly complete right and left mandibles consisting of dentaries, splenials, angulars, surangulars, and prearcticulars, complete left coronoid and fragment of postorbitalfrontal, incomplete postcranial skeleton consisting of posteriormost dorsal and pygal vertebrae, intermediate and terminal caudal vertebrae and ribs.
Note: With Squalicorax teeth nearby, may represent gut contents, organic debris present in the sediment where the carcass came to rest or scavenging.
