Etymology: From Kundar, the type locality, Amur Province, Asian Russia and the transliterated, and Greek, sauros, "lizard.

Etymology: In honor of V. A. Nagorny (Far Eastern Institute of Minearl Resources, FEB RAS), who discovered the Kundar Locality.

Locality: Kundar, N49°04'57.5", E130°51'34.1", Amur Province, Asian Russia.

Horizon: Udurchukan Formation.

Biostratigraphy: Wodehouseia spinata - Aquilapollenites subtiles palynozone.

Age: ?Late Maastrichtian Stage, Uppermost Senonian Subepoch, Uppermost Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
