Locality: Locality KC, Knox County, Texas.
Horizon: Upper part of Vale Formation, Clear Fork Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Lower Leonardian, Hessian, Artinskian Stage, Lower Rotliegendes Epoch, Early Permian.
Material: Part of basicranium and lower jaw, largely impression, and skeleton, including much of column except tail, part of pelvis, forelimb with humerus poorly preserved, and part of hind foot.
Referred material:
CNMH UR 85: Posterior part of skull, skeleton, including much of vertebral column except caudals, part of shoulder girdle, pelvis, femur, and head of fibula.

Etymology:
Holotype: FMNH UR 117
Locality: Locality FC, Halsell Ranch, Foard County, Texas.
Horizon: Middle part of Choza Formation, Upper Clear Fork Group.
Biostratigraphy: Land-vertebrate faunachron middle D.
Age: Upper Leonardian Stage,Upper Rotliegendes Epoch, Early Permian.
Material: Pelvic girdle with ilium damaged, partial left femur and tibia,
head of right femur, 5 caudal vertebrae lacking arches, and fragments of lumbar
vertebrae.
