Etymology: In honor of the county commissioner of Kusel, Dr. Winfried Hirschberger,
for his unitiring support of the Geoskop Urweltmuseum and the scientific research
in teh Saar-Nahe Basin.
Holotype: LFN-PW 2008/5599-LS
Locality: Remigiusberg Qurry, 49°54'88"N, 7°26'05"E, about i km northest of Haschbach, Rineland Palatinate State, Germany.
Horizon: Laywer 26, Remigiusberg Formation.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Basal Rotliegend, Upper Stephanian, Upper Silesian Series, Gzelian Epoch, Late Pennsylvanian (Late Carboniferous).
Material: An anterior right mandibular fragment exposed in lateral view with 11 teeth and one empty socket.
