Etymology:

Holotype: CMNH UR 148

Locality: Western 2/3rds of CZW 3C and 132 and eastern 1/2 of CZW 15G along margins of breaks in an area about 2 1/2 miles west from Crowell-Quana highway and about 1 1/2 miles north from Pease River, Hardeman County, Texas.

Horizon: San Angelo Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Late Permian.

Material: Maxillary with dentition and partial lower jaw with roots of teeth.
