Etymology: In honor of Roger K. Rector and his Wife Betty. Mr. Rector is former Superintendent of Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona.

Locality: Crocodile Hill (Petrified Forest Locality 124, west of Blue Mesa, “Machaeroprosopus adamenensis” horizon of CAMP, 1930), Petrified Forest, Apache County, Arizona.

Horizon: Lower Petrified Forest Formation, Chinle Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Latest Carnian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Most of right mandible, missing the glenoid region, right frontal with portion of the right postorbital jugal and miscellaneous fragments.
