Etymology:

Locality: Berdyanka I, near Mikhailovka village, right tributary of the Berdyanka River (Drainage basin of left bank of the Ural River), 3.4 km S of Berdyanka River, Sol-Iletsk district, Orenburg region, southern Cis-Urals, European Russia.

Horizon: Donguz Svita, Donguz Gorizont.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Muschelkalk, Anisian Stage, Lower Mid Triassic Epoch, Middle Triassic.

Material: Right ilium, femur and tibia.

Paratypes:

PIN 1579/62: Braincase.

PIN 1579/66: Left and right ilia.

PIN 1579/63, 1579/64: Sacral and caudal vertebrae.

Locality: Donguz I, right bank of the Donguz River (Drainage basin of left bank of the Ural River), 1 km downstream of Perovsky settlement, Sol-Illetzk district, Chkalov Region, 45 km south west of Chkalov town, Orenburg Province, European Russia.
