Holotype:

Locality: Clay Hill divide, 20 miles east of the north end of Glen Canyon of the Colorado River, Utah.

Horizon: Chinle Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Carnian-Early Norian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: 2 anterior teeth and an axis, numerous dermal plates, many vertebrae, all badly broken, portions of the pelvis and limbs, humerus, ulna, and scapula.
