Etymology:

Holotype: IVPP V 6026

Locality: Ha Zhen commune, Fu Gu County, North-East of Shensi Province, China.

Horizon: He Shang-gou Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Olenekian Stage, upper Scythian Epoch, Early Triassic- ?Anisian Stage, Lower Mid Triassic Epoch, Middle Triassic.

Material: Right premaxilla, maxilla, basispheinod, anterior dentary, and a piece of the posterior dentary, 3 cervical, dorsal and caudal vertebrae, a left clavicle and several fragments of rib.
