Etymology: In allustion ot the Bergamo Province, Italy and Greek, dactylus, "finger": a common epithet for pterosaur species:

Etymology: In honor of Dr. Rupert Wild, who described sseveral Triassic pterosaurs, including MPUM 6009

Holotype: MPUM 6009

Locality: Cene, Bergamo, Lombardia Province, North Italy.

Horizon: Zorzino Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Upper Norian Stage, Upper Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Skull and skeleton of a juvenile.
