Etymology: Domeyko, from the Cordillera de Domeyko, Antofagasta Province, North Chile, where the specimen was found and Greek, daktylos, "finger".

Etymology: In honor of Cecilia Demargasso, who was so kind to the authors.

Material: Incomplete mandible with portions of the left and right rami and symphysis.
