Etymology:
After the oasis village of Hassi El Begaa near the type locality of Aferdou N'Chaft.
Holotype: FSAC-KK 5075
Locality: Aferdou N'Chaft, Hassi El Begaa, d'Errachidia Province, Morocco.
Horizon: Upper Ifezouane Formation, Kem Kem Group.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: ?Albian Stage, Gallic Subepoch, Late Early Cretaceous Epoch, Late Early Cretaceous-Lower Cenomanian Stage, Late Gallic Subepoch, Early Senonian Subepohc, Middle Cretaceous.
Material: Partial rostrum, anterior to nasoantorbital fenestra and missing tip.
Paratype:
FSAC-KK 5076: Patial mandibular symphysis from anterior of the divergence of the mandibular rami.
