Etymology: From Nurhachi, the name of the founder of the Ch'ing Dynasty in China.

Etymology: Longcheng, the ancient name of Chaoyang City, Western Liaoning Province, China and Greek, -pterus, "wing," the suffix of pterosaurs: the generic name implies that the new pterosaur is found from Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province.

Etymology: In honor of the late Brazilian palaeontologist Ignacio M. Brito, who has fostered palaeontological studies in Brazil.

Holotype: IVPP V-13288

Locality: Gonggao, Chaoyang, Western Liaoning Province, China.

Horizon: Jiufotang Formation, Jehol Group.

Age: Aptain Stage, Middle Gallic Subepoch, Upper Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary skull and fragmentary skeleton.

Etymology: In honor of President Zhao Dayu of Shenyang Normal University, who sponsored to set up the Western Liaoning Insititute of Mesozoic Paleontology.

Horizon: Horizon IV, Upper Jiufotang Formation, Upper Jehol Group.

Biostratigraphy: Psittacosaurus fauna, Cathayornis-Chaoyanga Avifauna.

Age: Barremian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Lower Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: An incomplete skull and partial skeleton.

Species: luei ZHOU, PEGAS, LEAL & BONDE, 2019
Etymology: The specific name luei (/lyi/) honors the late Prof. Junchang Lü, who has made great contributions to the study of Chinese pterosaurs.

Holotype: BPMC-0204

Locality: Huanghuatan village, Dapingfang town, Chaoyang City, Liaonign Province, China.

Horizon: Lower part of the Jiufotang Formation.

Age: Aptian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Middle Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Skull, mandible and 7 cervical vertebrae.
