Etymology: In honor of William Henry Fitton (1780-1861) one of the founders of the Geological Society of London, and who may be regarded as the discoverer of the system now called "Neocomian,", which includes the Green-sand matrix of the Flying Reptiles under consideration.

Material: Distal fragment of premaxilla, fragments of skeleton.
