Etymology: In honor of Dr. Rocco Zambelli (Museo Civico di Scienze Naturali in Bergamo Italy), who first described Late Triassic Pterosaurs from Cene, Bergamo, Italy.

Holotype: MCSNB 2886

Locality: Cene, Bergamo, Lombardia Province, North Italy.

Horizon: Zorzino Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Upper Norian Stage, Upper Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Fragment of lower dentary and fragmentary skeleton.
