Genus: Eiectus NOE & GOMEZ-PEREZ, 2022
Etymology: Latin, eiectus, "castaway, stranded, marooned or banished"; referring to the preservation of this Mesozoic mainre reptile in present-day terrestrial deposites, and metaphorically as an Australian fossil now resideing in Harvard, USA.

Species: longmani NOE & GOMEZ-PEREZ, 2022
Etymology: In honor of Longman, who first described Kronosaurus and his work in Australian paleontology.

Holotype: MCZ 1285

Locality: 5 miles and 30 miles to the north of Richmond, in Grampian valley, west of Hughenden, Richmond region, Queensland State, Australia.

Horizon: Docaster Member, Wallumbilla Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Cretaceous.

Material: Fragmentary skeleton lacking skull and limbs.
