Holotype: WIGM SPC V 1009

Locality: Luoping County, Yunnan Province, southwestern China.

Horizon: Upper Member, Guanling Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Anisian Stage, Lower Mid Triassic Epoch, Lower Middle Triassic.

Material: Skull and fragmentary skeleton.

Species: qianensis LI, JIANG, CHENG, WU & RIEPPEL, 2014
Etymology: Specific name referes to the simplified name "Qian" for Guizhou Province, China, where the specimen was collected.

Holotype: IVPP V 15638

Locality: Xinmin District, Panxian County, southwest-most Guizhou Province, southwestern China.

Horizon: Member II, Guanling Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Middle Anisian Stage, Lower Mid Triassic Epoch, Lower Middle Triassic.

Material: A nearly comlpete skeleton in ventral view, with posterior-most section of tail missing.

Referred material:

GMPKU-P-1532-A: A skull with cervical vertebra.

GMPKU-P-1532-B: An incomplete postcranial skeleton, wiht the posterior portion of mandible but missing most of the tail.
