Etymology: Latin, anguirostris, "narrow-muzzled"; in reference to the rostral anatomy.

Holotype: SMNK-PAL 3861

Locality: Goulmima region, Er-Rachida Province, Southern Morocco.

Horizon: Unit 4.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Turonian Stage Boundary, Upper Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Skull and fragmentary skeleton lacking both fore limbs, both hind limbs except for the left femur and some phalanges, parts of both girdles, and the terminal vertebrae.
