Etymology: The species name alludes to the long neck.
Holotype: MHNGr.PA.11710
Locality: Goulmima region, Er-Rachida Province, Southern Morocco.
Horizon: Unit 4.
Biostratigraphy:
Age: Turonian Stage Boundary, Upper Gallic Subepoch, Lower Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.
Material: Skull, lower jaw, 37 associated vertebrae including entire cervical and pectoral series and the anterormost dorsal vertebrae.
