Holotype: NZGS,CD425

Locality: V19/f6909, Mangahouanga Stream, North Island, New Zealand.

Horizon: Maungataniwha Sandstone.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Piripauan-Haumurian, Campanian-Maastrichtian Stage, Upper Senonian Subepoch, Upper Gulf Epoch, Late Cretaceous.

Material: Skull.

Referred material:

NZGS, CD426: Fused atlas/axis, 7 successive cervical vertebrae, left angular, quadrate and squamosal.

NZGS, CD428: Pectoral girdle consisting of right and left coracoids, scapulae, and broad humerus, a single vertebral centrum of a juvenile.
